ESTRI students sit examinations leading to a number of different qualifications throughout their five years of study. They obtain the School's own certificates through end of semester exams and continuing assessment.

The Franco-British Chamber of Commerce Diploma
This examination was created by businesses and proves a thorough knowledge of business English.
University of Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) certificates
Certificate in Advanced English
Certificate of Proficiency in English.
These are the two highest levels in a series of exams considered as the international standard for proficiency in English by business and universities; they correspond respectively to levels C1 and C2 of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Certificate awarded by the School awarded after three years of study (i.e. an undergraduate course) and a six-month work placement abroad.
This course programme allows students to prepare this degree.

A certificate or diploma from the German, Spanish or Italian Chamber of Commerce, depending on languages studied.


Advanced Certificate in International Relations
Professional certificate obtained with a grade average of at least 12/20 (for both years of study) and after a work placement in fourth year, an internship at the end of fifth year, and an oral defence of a final dissertation.
This course programme allows students to prepare this degree.

Chinese HSK
Test produced by the Chinese Ministry for Education and the only internationally-recognised objective measurement of proficiency in Chinese.
